High Falls at Lake Glenville is a beautiful waterfall located in Jackson County, North Carolina. The waterfall is situated on the west fork of the Tuckasegee River, which is dammed to form Lake Glenville, the highest lake east of the Mississippi River.

The waterfall drops approximately 150 feet in a single, dramatic plunge, making it one of the highest waterfalls in North Carolina. Visitors can view the falls from a platform located near the parking area, which offers an excellent view of the waterfall and the surrounding forest.

To get to High Falls, visitors should take Highway 107 North from Cashiers, North Carolina, and continue for approximately 10 miles until they reach the High Falls parking area. From there, visitors can follow a short trail to the viewing platform.

Visitors can also enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing on the lake, as well as hiking and camping in the surrounding forest.
