Hiking Trail Info | Driving Directions to Trail Head

December 23 was another high 40-degree day in the Great Smoky Mountains. We scooped up the nieces and nephew and headed out for a very family-friendly 1 mile round trip (loop) to Rufus Morgan Trail. Halfway around the loop, you can walk up to the 70ft, Rufus Morgan Falls where we had a picnic lunch. Despite the cooler temps at this time of year, the leaves are off the tree and you can see longer views than other seasons.

The wintertime is still a great chance to get outside in the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. See you out there!!!
